I research and teach about educational policy, curriculum, and instruction. My work examines the intersections of globalization, education, culture, identity, and language. My areas of expertise are Educational Foundations, Critical Educational Studies, Comparative and International Education, English Language Education, and Higher Education Internationalization (especially the dimension of Internationalization at Home to promote interculturalism and the ways that this can be supported by Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) and English-medium instruction (EMI) programming, as well as Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL) using AI).
