Recommendations

I am very pleased to support all of my current and past students in their ambitions beyond my classroom. However, for your own benefit, before asking me for a recommendation you should consider whether you believe I will be able to write you a good/strong recommendation. If your answer is "yes" then please follow the instructions below and then contact me to make your request!

At LEAST 2 weeks before your letter is due to be submitted, please send me an e-mail requesting my recommendation and include the following information in your message.

Your full name
The semester and course(s) you took with me and the final grade(s) you received
The reason why you think I (specifically) can write you a good recommendation
The program/job/scholarship/etc. that you are applying to and your reason for wanting to apply to this particular one
Why you think you are prepared to succeed and or contribute to your desired destination
Your tentative schedule in the coming weeks in case I feel we should have a meeting so I can learn more details to help me write a better letter
