Mentoring, Training, & Student Support
In life, and certainly in the field of education, I believe we are all just paying it forward. I eagerly welcome opportunities to pass on whatever knowledge or wisdom I have to my colleagues and students.
Some of my recent examples of this include those noted in the "University Service" section above. Also, in the CIES SAIS SIG I have spearheaded a Mentoring Program and an International Scholars Writing Workshop Series to help empower the next generation of international scholars.
For my students, my commitment extends beyond the classroom walls and course semester. It is both an honor and pleasure to support their holistic development and guide them towards their future. After class, in my office hours, through e-mail, I always welcome you if you need to speak with me.
